Students will receive an introduction to drama as they focus on theatre appreciation through vocabulary, theatre history, and an understanding of backstage elements such as scenic construction, light board operation, sound board operation, costuming and makeup along with safety procedures for each and OSHA certification for construction sites. Students will also be introduced to basic acting styles to help create a well-rounded understanding of theatre arts on stage and backstage.
