To provide an entry-level class for those who want to learn an instrument or those who might not yet be ready for the rigor of high school band. Students will be able to play music at a Grade 1.5-2 level by the end of the course. Scope: Rhythm (whole through sixteenth notes & rests), Notes (low concert F through high concert E-flat), Articulations (legato, staccato, slur), Scales (B-flat, F-, E-flat, A-flat).
