Films of the 20s Through World WarII

This semester long class focuses on how films of the 1920s, 30s, and 40s reflected the United States during that time period. We will look at comedies, cartoons and full length movies and study how they represent American history at the time. Topics covered include the Boom to Bust of the 1920s'. New deal programs of the 1930's, and The war years of 1939 through 1945.
