Cambridge International AS & A Level Digital Media & Design curriculum is used in tandem with the CTE Digital Communication program standards to allow learners to explore a range of processes and techniques in digital media. This course: develops an awareness of the world of digital media and design, develops learners’ creative processes and their ability to critically evaluate their work, encourages learners to combine innovative approaches and techniques to solve problems creatively, expands learners’ knowledge of digital media by exploring different designers, processes and concepts, prepares learners for further study and to work in a collaborative industry. Students develop leadership, social, civic, and career skills through participation in FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). This course is the second of two in the CTE program. Completing both courses is required to become a CTE program completer which earns the student a graduation cord. This course is also recommended for students seeking the AICE diploma through Cambridge.
