In this course, the Cambridge International IGSCE Art & Design curriculum is used in tandem with the CTE Digital Communication program standards. This course combines the creative exploration of art and design with the practical skills of digital communication. Students will develop technical expertise in two- and three-dimensional media, including traditional and new technologies, while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills in visual and tactile forms. They will also gain an in-depth understanding of news writing, editing, photojournalism, graphic design and media production, utilizing industry-standard tools and practices. Emphasizing personal expression, ethical considerations and professional standards, this program equips learners with lifelong skills and prepares them for advanced education or careers in art, design, and media industries.
