This course reviews the application of law and functions of law enforcement for preparation of a career in law enforcement. This sec-ond-year course covers practical applications of policing such as ethical responsibilities, use of force, and crime scene security. Students will conduct hands-on applications involving necessary equipment for handcuffing, crime scene preservation, vehicle searches and fingerprinting. Students will become completers in the program by passing a state technical assessment and receive a certificate from Arizona Department of Education.
